  1. I am a big believer in the LSD work out in all three triathlon sports. I put in one LSD workout in swimming, cycling and running every week and have noticed a lot of improvment in my over-all fitness and speed. Part of it is mental. When I am feeling tired I remind myself that I have run much farther than this and that my body can handle it, even if it's hurting at the time.
